Assassin's Promise

In a city simiar to London in the 1800's, in a parallel world to this one, magick still reigns. The Guid of the Black Rose is the underlying law of the streets... the law the police are afraid of. Their top Assassin is Phaedra, a raven-haired woman with eyes of ice. The Rose is a woman very similar to Phaedra... in fact, they are one and the same, but no one knows this. No one but Phaedra herself. Ages ago there was a people called the Sky-Walkers, they were very advanced for the time, and obsessed with the night sky. They knew many things we don't about the stars, because they understood it, they understood how the universe turns, how it works. The story I shall tell another time... that's another tale, a history almost entirely forgotten except by the higher ups in the Raven Guild. The city is run by an sick emperor who no one ever sees. His son is a whiny little prat.. But everyone knows who really runs the city. The Rose. A very private woman, at night she leaves her home as Phaedra, the Night Walker. Almost what we consider Batman... But with a different set of morals. She kills those she believes deserves it, and hasn't taken an actual "case" in years. Nor has she left the city in quite a long time.

She's impossible to mistake in either guise, as Phaedra she has tattoos all down her arms and a single tattoo beneath her eye, in a language no one knows. In fact, all her tattoos are in this language.. and no one knows what they mean. She has two single blades, both long, razor sharp, and elegant. They also don't age, don't nick, and wash very easily. They're silver, and almost never seen by those she kills, unless she wants them to be seen.

The Rose dresses with a mask, and wears red robes over a red and black gown. The gown changes according to her mood, she has thousands in her closet.
