The Land Beneath the Sea Empty The Land Beneath the Sea

    Post  eternal_araelys Sun Feb 08, 2009 8:12 am

It wasn't always beneath the sea.. In fact, before it was, it was a magnificent, beautiful city. It still is to this day, but in a different way. It was the Ivory and Silver city, gleaming in the sun. It was about the size of 5 NYC's stacked atop each other, built specifically to be both strong and beautiful. Walking beneath the buildings wouldn't make you feel trapped and disgusting, it filled you with awe. It was the home of Amaleh, the Goddess of Balance and Guardian of this Universe. Amaleh and her Seven had their own specific tower, the tallest one of all. There were buildings and buildings of her Libraries and scrolls, her Army lived there. The Drae'kyn'adra were a prideful, powerful people, warriors the likes of which humans have never seen. It was a very advanced city, and still is to this day... but now it is beneath the sea. Instead of being Ivory and silver, it is Ivory, silver, and now turquoise.

The Drae'kyn'adra had been formed by Amaleh herself, the originals of their race formed of a DNA splicing between a dragon and a human. I will go into the specifics of the race later.

Amaleh's Seven were six Gods she had handpicked to stand for the 6 main elements of existence.

Amaleh was and is a 9' Drae'kyn'adra with blue skin. She was feared, loved, and respected by all.. Except the traitor. One of her army was sent by her enemy, Magholm to set loose a disease that destroyed a good portion of her people. It was the equivalent to an STD but one that destroyed the cells of those who got it. The first set were carriers, all the equivalent to 23 year olds who mated and their children had less scales, their wings ripped off easier and stayed off, and often they became bald.

They were called the Unforgotten, and left so as not to destroy the rest. Amaleh hadn't forgotten them, and still hasn't, but she never forgave the betrayer. She called forth a rain the likes of which none have ever seen and the entire city was underwater within 8 hours. By dawn it was as if her city had disappeared. She had taught the Drae'kyn'adra to breathe underwater, and so it is as it is today.

People don't visit anymore, because they can't find it... but Amaleh and her army still stand, waiting for vengeance.
